Thank you so much for your response to my previous question. Do you have to program when you install the conductor plate? Also, what do you recommend- blue or red ATF? 

~I fix Japanese cars and am not very well with Germans. I’m trying to see if I can figure this problem out! Thanks so much buddy for your help.

Your conductor plate does not need programming but your TCU ((transmission control module) does or at least fault code clearing, located under passenger foot wall and known to have transmission fluid traveling into it from the wire harness.. would be the first thing I check, you need to plug a good diagnosis tool to be able to clear fault codes before the transmission will shift or may have to replace the TCU all together..regarding your fluid, you are not required to use the blue fluid as long as you use Mercedes commanded fluid you should be fine.
